Drop Offs: 
We accept drop-offs without an appointment during regular warehouse hours. The warehouse is located at Heritage Place, Building #2, 439 S. Union Street in Lawrence. Upon entering the parking lot, stay to the left of the building and proceed to a loading dock with 4 bays and a big dumpster. Pull up at the stairs marked "Shipping and Receiving" and call 978-270-9878 to have a volunteer assist you in unloading. Please note, this phone number is for the warehouse only.

Pick Ups: 
We are thrilled to announce that PHA will be working with College Hunks Hauling Junk to broaden our ability to receive donated household goods. They have a great organization and will pick up and haul away anything you want out of your home, including donations to PHA! There is a fee involved, but a discount will be offered to those who mention they want their goods donated to PHA. They can be reached at 1-800-586-5872 or 1800JunkUSA.com. Like any donation to PHA, whatever is picked up is tax deductible. College Hunks Hauling Junk will be able to pick things up in a more timely fashion than I have been able to, so especially for those “have to have it out this week” circumstances, this is a great way to get your donations to PHA. 

Social workers can also pick up furniture directly for their clients. Please email us at info@phama.org or call 978-470-1356 to let us know what you have to donate and we'll do our best to get it picked up if you cannot drop it off at our warehouse.

What We Accept: 
We accept all gently used items that might be used to furnish an apartment. We do not accept clothing of any kind. All donations must be in good condition. We do not accept torn or stained upholstered furniture.

Furnishings  
Household Lamps, Radios, Televisions, CD players, Computers (complete computers only), Decorating Items, Sheets, Blankets, Towels, Window Treatments, Shades, Framed Artwork, Picture Frames, Clocks, Clock Radios, Area Rugs, Bath Mats, Storage Units , Knickknacks

For the Kitchen  
Dishes, Glasses, Pots and Pans, Silverware, Utensils, Baking Sheets, Casseroles, Pot Holders, Dish Towels, Toaster Ovens, Coffee Makers, Electric Mixers, Can Openers, Crock Pots, Food Processors, Storage Containers       

For Babies and Children
Pack-n-Plays, Strollers, Rocking Chairs, Swings, Bouncer Seats, Booster Seats, Car Seats (need not to have been in an accident), High Chairs, Toys, Games, Puzzles, Books

Appliances (MUST be in good working order)
Washers & Dryers (electric), Refrigerators, Ovens, Microwaves

Cash Contributions:
100% of your cash contributions go toward serving our community.  Your monetary donations help us to purchase those items for which there are fewer donations, but many needs, like mattresses and pots and pans.
