Donate Goods

We’re thrilled to receive your donations! Before arriving at PHA to deliver, please take a look at the items we accept as well as our donation drop off hours.

Current items needed most: comforters and sheets, towels, small appliances, and pots and pans.

How To Drop Off Your Donations

Turn into 439 South Union Street, Lawrence (Heritage Place). Drive straight, passing a large parking lot on your right-hand side. A 5-bay loading dock (as well as a trash compactor and recycling receptacle) will be on your right just after the parking lot. You may pull into any open space and call 978-270-9878. A volunteer will answer. Please let them know what you have in tow, and our team will meet you at your vehicle within just a few minutes to collect your items.

We kindly remind you that donations cannot be left on the loading dock, outside of our doors, or outside of the building at any time. Please make sure you arrive during our hours of operation.

Small items are welcome for drop off at our facility. Should you have large furniture, you can schedule a pickup. We’d be happy to pick it up from you.

What We Accept

We accept almost all new and gently-used furniture, small appliances, and household goods. All donations must be in good condition. We do not accept upholstered furniture or linens that are torn, stained, or show excessive wear. A good rule of thumb is if you are tired of something, we want it. If you would not use it anymore because of the condition it is in, then we would not offer it to our clients.

We are also happy to except items you would like us to sell at our booth at the Canal Street Antique Market. It enables us to raise money to purchase mattresses for our Good Night Sleep Program. Antiques, mid century modern pieces, or other “interesting” items that our clients do not need for their homes can still benefit them!

If you have something other than what’s listed below or an “unusual” donation, please feel free to email us at to discuss it. Thanks so much for seeking us out – we appreciate each and every donation!
