Project Home Again, a nonprofit organization dedicated to turning houses into homes for families across the Merrimack Valley, is pleased to announce the appointment of Adam Rodgers as its new Executive Director. Project Home Again provides those in need with the furniture and household goods necessary to live in comfort and with dignity. Rodgers, a seasoned nonprofit leader and community advocate, will lead the organization’s efforts to enhance family well-being through community partnerships and collaborative service.

Rodgers joins Project Home Again with a distinguished career in nonprofit leadership, most recently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro North. A deeply engaged community leader, Rodgers sits on the Board of the Stoneham Alliance Against Violence, serves as a Library Trustee for the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library in Wakefield, and is an active leader within the Rotary Club’s District 7930. He brings extensive experience in community engagement and strategic partnership development to his new role.

Veronica Guzman and Liri Rivera, Co-Chairs of the Board shared “We are incredibly excited to welcome Adam to Project Home Again. His experience, values, and people-first approach to leadership stood out throughout the search process. We are confident in his ability to support and strengthen the strong foundation already in place, and we’re excited for this next chapter under his leadership.”

Project Home Again was established over twenty years ago by founder Nancy Kanell. Serving the Merrimack Valley, especially the Gateway Cities of Haverhill, Lawrence, Lowell, and Methuen, the organization focuses on the individual needs of every family through a model of personalized service. This mission is sustained by a dedicated group of volunteers who carefully “pick” items for each family to help meet their specific needs, transforming essential goods into a foundation for a new beginning.

“I am honored to join an organization with such a rich history of serving the Merrimack Valley,” said Adam Rodgers. “Project Home Again is a vital community link, and I look forward to strengthening our existing collaborations and building new partnerships as we work together to make our communities better and help our neighbors live with comfort and dignity.”
