Our Mission – We partner with local social service agencies to provide low-income families, free of charge, with the new and gently used household goods, furniture and appliances that they need to live with comfort and dignity.

Why We Opened a Second Location – Because of increased donations from the film industry and a growing number of clients we help each year, it became clear we needed more space. Our Heritage Place location has served us well since 2003, but this move allows us to use that space as a true warehouse. Designing the new location in Andover has given us the opportunity to create a space that will make our clients feel as if they are in a beautiful store. Every area was painted and display units were designed and placed with the intention of offering those who visit us a peaceful and nurturing environment to make accepting help easier.

Our Hope – There is nothing more important to us than making sure that our clients’ needs are met, both in terms of the furnishings they receive and the emotional support they feel while they are our guests. The end result is a house turned into a home, one that reflects their taste and personality.

What We Need Most from the Community – There are three things:

  1. Volunteers – We need help to make things run smoothly. Our goal is to open at least four days a week for clients and social workers. To find out more, visit the Volunteer page of our website.
  2. Monetary Donations – About one third of our annual budget funds come from individual donors. Simply put, we could not afford to meet the needs of our clients without your monetary donations.
  3. Donations of furniture, household items, and décor – We try to provide our clients with quality items for their home. Our golden rule is if you would not want a guest in your home to sit on it, drink or eat from it, or sleep on it, please do not bring it to us.
